Graduated from Pima Community College in 2001 for Dental Assisting
Graduated from Pima Community College in 2009 with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene

About Kylie’s family:

Kylie moved to Tucson in 1992.  She is the second youngest of 10 children!

What do you do for fun outside of work?

“When not working, I like to spend time with family, hanging out with my nieces and nephews.  I enjoy all types of physical recreation and outdoor activities like jogging, hiking, and practicing yoga.”

What do you like about your job?

“I’ve worked in the dental field for 15 years, and as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 7 years.  I love being a hygienist!  I am passionate about helping patients understand the importance of oral health, and providing the best treatments to prevent oral disease.  I’m so glad that our practice is based on honesty and treating the patients right, it takes away all the stress so that I can enjoy my work.”

*Note from Kacy:  Patients are always remarking, “That was the best cleaning I’ve ever had!” Well I’m bound to agree; Kylie has a rare combination of thoroughness and gentleness that make cleanings super comfortable.

Carla Noriega
Dental Assistant

Graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2005 for Dental Assisting

About Carla’s family:

Carla is married and has two small children, Ulises and Angela.

What do you do for fun outside of work?

“We like to go to the movies, and also love traveling to Mexico.”

What do you like about your job?

“I’ve been a Dental Assistant for 11 years.  I love my job because I get do to many different things during my day.  The office is filled with the most updated technology that makes my job much easier and more fun.  Everyone here is so nice to work with, especially Dr. Engle. He’s a great dentist and a great person to work for.  I learn new things every day.”

*Note from Kacy:  Speaking of nice people, Carla is just about the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. Her excellent skills and calm demeanor can soothe even the most anxious patient.

About Kacy’s family:

Kacy is a fifth generation Tucsonan (her father is a third generation native) and loves the desert.  She has a 14 year old son who keeps her busy.

What do you do for fun outside of work?

“My favorites are being out in nature, hiking, listening to live music, and dancing.  If I can do those things with family and friends, then that’s even better!”

What do you like about your job?

“I love working here at Presidio because I know with complete confidence that all my patients that I grow to care about are always getting the best possible treatment.  I think we have the absolute best patients too.  I’m so lucky to be able to come to work every day and be surrounded by truly good, positive people.  More than anything, I love watching our patients regain their confidence with their new smiles!”
